Nothing matching that

Try a shorter word, or just call us on 843-465-9248 — we would rather answer it than have you hunt for it.

Getting Seen

No. Both clinics are walk-in during opening hours, and the average wait is about 10 minutes. If you would like us ready for you, ring the bell on any page to tell us you are on your way.
Monday to Friday 8AM–8PM, and Saturday 8AM–5PM. Both clinics keep the same hours.
Two locations: West Ashley at 2039 Savannah Highway, and North Charleston at 5479 N. Rhett Avenue. Both are walk-in and both run the same price list.
Yes. Membership covers both, and nothing costs more at one than the other. Walk into whichever suits your day.
About 10 minutes on average. It varies with how busy the clinic is, but you are not waiting weeks for an appointment slot.
From North Charleston: Park Circle, Hanahan, Daniel Island, Goose Creek, Ladson and Summerville. From West Ashley: James Island, Johns Island, West Ashley itself and Downtown Charleston.
For flu, strep and COVID testing, yes — drive-thru testing runs at both clinics and results come back while you wait.
Yes, anywhere in South Carolina. Video visits are free and unlimited for members. Non-members pay $40.

What It Costs

A flat $120 for the office visit, told to you at the desk before anything happens. A follow-up within three to five days is $75, and a video visit is $40.
$0 for office visits, at every membership level. Routine in-house labs, rapid tests and level-1 procedures such as X-ray and EKG are covered too.
No, and we do not take Medicaid. There is no claim to file, no coding, and no bill arriving three weeks later. Many patients keep insurance for hospital and specialist care and use us for everything day to day.
Many patients do. We give you a receipt for every payment; whether it qualifies is between you and your plan administrator.
Sometimes. Send-out specialty labs, level-2 and level-3 procedures, most vaccines, orthopedic supplies and weight-loss medication are charged separately. Every figure is published on our pricing page and you are told the cost before anything is done.
It depends how often you come. Two one-off visits cost $240. Membership starts at $85 a month and makes office visits $0. If you expect more than two visits a year, or you take regular prescriptions, membership usually works out better.
Yes. One price list, both locations.

Membership

From $85 a month. There are plans for students, individuals, households and businesses. Full pricing is on the memberships page.
No. It is a membership for direct primary and urgent care — no copays, no deductibles and no claims. It is not a substitute for insurance covering hospital stays or major surgery.
Ninety days minimum on every membership, without exception. After that it continues month to month and you can cancel with 30 days’ notice.
No. There is no registration or enrollment charge on any plan.
Levels within a plan. The clinical care in the clinic is identical at every level — what changes is whether RX+, 24/7 Virtual Care+ and Mental Health+ are switched on. Not every plan runs all three levels.
Yes, once your initial 90-day commitment is complete, with 30 days’ notice. Annual plans are not refunded if canceled — coverage runs to the end of the term you have paid for.
Adults on their own or as a couple go on Personal+. As soon as there are children, the household moves to Family+. Full-time students have their own plan at $85, and businesses use Workforce+ or Advantage+.
On some plans. Student+ is $895 for the year against $85 a month, and Executive+ is $5,000 against $550 a month. Annual payments are not refunded if you cancel partway through.
We care for patients from six months old.

Your Care

A physician or a physician assistant. The team is small and consistent across both clinics, and everyone works from the same records, so whoever sees you already knows your history.
You see whoever is on shift that day. Because the team is small and shares one record system, continuity comes from the notes as much as the face.
We arrange the referral across more than 25 Charleston specialties, send your records ahead, and explain what happens next. We keep managing your everyday care alongside them.
We refer and help you get there. Holy City Med handles primary and urgent care — it is not a substitute for emergency treatment or a hospital stay.
Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Do not wait for a text or a video visit.
Yes, from six months old. A household with children goes on Family+ rather than Personal+.
Yes. Ask at either clinic or through the member portal, and we will provide them or send them where you need them.

What We Treat

Everyday illness and injury — infections, sore throats, rashes, sprains, cuts needing stitches. X-ray, EKG and in-house labs are done on site rather than sent to a hospital.
Ongoing health — chronic conditions, medication management, preventive care, physicals and the annual wellness panel that comes with membership.
Yes. Anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD and related conditions are managed by the same providers who handle your everyday care, in person or by video. More complex psychiatric conditions are referred to a trusted Charleston specialist.
Yes. Weight Loss+ is provider-led GLP-1 care, open to members and non-members. The program is $40 a month, or $0 if you already hold a membership, with medication priced separately from $99.
The pharmacy side of your membership — a digital card that works at more than 70,000 pharmacies, plus home delivery for the medications you take every month. It is part of a membership level, not a separate purchase.
Yes. DOT physicals, pre-employment and sports physicals, drug and TB screening, injury evaluation and return-to-work paperwork. Employers can set up an account with a card on file.
Rapid flu, strep, COVID, urinalysis and a range of in-house bloodwork, run in the clinic while you wait. Members test free for most of these. Drive-thru testing is available at both clinics.

Practical Things

Online in a couple of minutes, or at the desk on your way out of a visit. No paperwork, no insurance details.
The Member Portal link at the top of any page takes you to it. It opens in a new tab so you do not lose your place.
Only if you have agreed to it. Our texting program is called Holy City Med Alerts and sends from 843-779-7226. Reply STOP at any time to stop, and it will not affect your care.
Yes. Call or text 843-465-9248 and we will tell you the number. Most prices are published on the pricing page already.
Yes. The Prayer Center takes requests confidentially, and you do not need to be a patient to send one.
