Will I actually know what’s going on?
Yes — with your student’s okay, which is set up once at enrolment since they’re adults at 18. If they come in and need you, we bring you in, and you get the “they’re taken care of” message rather than the 2am panic call.
What if they’re not in Charleston?
Virtual care covers them anywhere, as long as a South Carolina address is on file — including over every break.
Is this insurance?
No. Student+ is a membership. You pay one flat monthly price and visits are $0 — there are no claims, copays or deductibles involved. Most families keep it alongside their existing insurance, which stays there for hospital and specialist cover.
Am I locked in?
There’s a 90-day minimum on every Holy City Med membership, then it continues month to month and you can cancel with 30 days’ notice. There is no registration or sign-up fee.
