What Is Urgent Care at Holy City Med?

Urgent care is for the things that cannot wait for an appointment but are not an emergency — a fever that will not shift, a cut that needs closing, a sprain you cannot walk on. You walk in, a physician or PA sees you, and it is dealt with the same day.

On average you will be called back in about 10 minutes. Members pay $0 member visits, from $85/mo. Non-members pay a flat $120, evaluation included.

  • No appointment, ever
  • X-ray and EKG on site
  • Rapid flu, strep and COVID
  • Stitches, sprains and wounds
  • Prescriptions sent before you leave
  • Open six days a week

Your Safety First

When to Go to the ER Instead

Urgent care handles a lot — but some symptoms need an emergency room. Call 911 or go to the nearest ER for any of these:

  • Chest pain, pressure, or tightness
  • Difficulty breathing at rest
  • Signs of stroke: face drooping, one-sided weakness, slurred speech, sudden confusion
  • Severe or rapidly worsening abdominal pain
  • Uncontrolled bleeding or deep wounds
  • Head injury with loss of consciousness or repeated vomiting
  • Seizures or new seizure activity
  • Severe allergic reaction: swelling of face, lips, or tongue
  • High fever in infants, or high fever with lethargy
  • Thoughts of harming yourself or others
Not an Emergency

Most urgent problems do not need an ER.

Cuts, sprains, fevers and infections are treated here the same day — no waiting room, no surprise bill weeks later. If what you have is a true emergency, we will tell you straight away and send you where you need to be.

“I absolutely love this place & recommend it so often. Most recently I went there for stitches last night, & as usual, I was in & out so quickly & it cost less than if I had gone elsewhere & used my health insurance.”
